Mia Grady grew up here in the valley. She graduated from New School for the Arts as a dance major and attended Scottsdale Community College on a dance scholarship. She went on to complete her Bachelors in Theatre Design and Production with a focus in lighting design.

Mia danced professionally for Gravity Dance Theatre for seven seasons where she performed such lead roles as

  • Juliet in Romeo & Juliet

  • Catherine in Wuthering Heights

  • Hope in Pandora’s Box

  • Jo March in Little Woman

  • Kate in Taming of the Shrew and

  • The White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland

Mia also went on to perform for Center Dance ensemble under the direction of Francis Smith Cohen and Diane Hunt where she received such roles as The Birthing Woman in The Rite of Spring, and La Llorona: The Mother in La Llorona.

Mia has fifteen years of teaching experience in many styles of dance for several studios in the valley including Full Out, Dance Republic and Club Dance.

In 2016, she conceptualized Rogue Dance and created such shows as Salem Witch Trials, Cleopatra, Then There Were None and Marie Antoinette.

Mia is excited to bring more creativity to the stage for many years to come. She was recently accepted into the Masters of Fine Arts program at Arizona State University (ASU) for Theatre Directing and will begin this new chapter August of 2025! Mia enjoys spending her free time with her three kids and their bearded dragon, Pinecone.
